Fostering scientific vocations in the rural world

The 1st Temple Science Fair was inaugurated this morning, with the attendance of municipal representatives from Escúzar, Ventas de Huelma and Ácula, Agrón, La Malaha, Chimeneas, Cacín, Jayena and Cúllar Vega, as well as the IFMIF-DONES Spain Consortium, Industry Office, Granada Chamber of Commerce and Ineustar. Dozens of schoolchildren have participated in the organised activities, which will continue until tomorrow.

During the two days, numerous interactive and practical activities will take place, where participants will have the opportunity to experiment with complex scientific concepts in an accessible and fun way. The multi-purpose hall in Escúzar is hosting the Fair. Students from different Temple district schools will attend in the morning. On Friday, there will also be afternoon activities open to the public. At 16:00 there will be an exhibition about IFMIF-DONES and at 19:00 there will be a screening of ‘Estela’, with the participation of its director and scriptwriter, Manuel Sicilia.
