IFMIF-DONES took part in Red Cross Flag Day, organised by the Spanish Red Cross in Granada on 15 October along Paseo del Salón. The event brought together social organisations and professionals to raise public awareness of the important humanitarian work carried out by this NGO.

“We are there for major disasters and the everyday ones” was the slogan of this annual awareness-raising event. This year, the focus was on the support provided by the organisation to people experiencing crises that rarely make the headlines, such as unwanted loneliness, unemployment and a lack of resources.

The event featured 20 activities set up throughout the morning along Paseo del Salón, attracting more than 300 students from different educational centres.
