IFMIF-DONES played a major role at BSBF 2024, held in Trieste (Italy). This forum offered a unique opportunity to explore new partnerships, discover business opportunities and access high-impact projects. More than 1,000 delegates and representatives from 500 organisations participated in this key event to anticipate upcoming developments and position our region in an increasingly technological market.

Philippe Cara spoke in the parallel session ‘Affiliated Major Scientific Organisations (ABSO) I’. In it, international research organisations dedicated to advanced and unique scientific experimentation, selected through the Big Science Affiliated Organisations call, presented their investment plans and business opportunities for the coming years.

Along with Philippe Cara, our PMO Leader, José Aguilar; the General Procurement Group Leader at Fusion for Energy, Anne-Kathrin Preis; the director of Xcitech DONES School, Blanca Biel; and the representative of Industry Office, Roberto Álvarez, also attended the BSBF 2024.
