Strategic objective: To contribute to the main critical aspects on the road to fusion energy around DONES and DEMO.

Foreseen activities:

  • Development of advanced RF components for DONES 
  • Development of Li and PbLi handling components for DONES and DEMO 
  • Development of key technologies for criticaly exposed components for DONES and DEMO
  • Key technologies for DONES and DEMO:
    • Inspection sensors
    • Tritium transport models 
    • Liquid metals technologies
    • Diagnostics for Li circuits (RF and LASER)
  • Safety and environmental management in lithium handling
