The University of Granada announces three new research contracts for the Technical Office and the Control Systems Laboratory for IFMIF-DONES.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Research contract for control systems for IFMIF-DONES: Bachelor’s Degree or Full undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or in Telecommunications Engineering. Professional experience in programming embedded systems and/or FPGA or instrumentation for particle accelerators. Knowledge of OS and Linux drivers for embedded systems. Experience in FPGA programming for communication systems. Fluent in English.
- Contract for the research Project on ERDF nominative transfer for the implementation of IFMIF-DONES: Full-undergraduate degree holder. Knowledge on particle accelerators, and calculations, design, and installation of complex high-precision devices in high-vacuum and ultra-high vacuum conditions. Preparation of technical specifications for prototypes and component design. Experience in Matlab, Simulink or similar. At least 3 years of professional experience in defining and designing engineering systems and integrated items in complex technological projects. Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages will be an asset. Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Development of real-time data collection systems for large scientific infrastructures. Control systems for scientific experiments. Development of control hardware and firmware. Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages will be an asset. Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
