Two vacancies for the Virtual Reality Laboratory for IFMIF-DONES at the University of Granada

RESEARCH CONTRACT

The University of Granada has launched two research contracts to join the Virtual Reality Laboratory for remote handling tasks in IFMIF-DONES.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Contract to join the research project on the implementation of virtual reality environments for IFMIF-DONES maintenance: Electronic engineering. Master’s Degree in Game Development and virtual reality. Master’s Degree in Physics: Particles and Radiation. C1 in English is required. Professional experience in simulation development of maintenance processes with remote handling in radiated facilities. Professional experience in the integration of haptic devices in Unity3D virtual environments. Professional experience in collaborative robot handling.
  • Contract to join the research project on the implementation of virtual reality environment for remote handling tasks in IFMIF-DONES and real-time interactive operation: Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Development of Videogames. Master’s Degree in software development. B2 level in English is required. Professional experience in simulation for remote handling tasks in radiated environments. Experience in developing applications associated to research contracts. Experience in user interface development.
