We attended the 3rd International Conference on Fusion and Plasma in Seoul

Our director, Ángel Ibarra, attended the 3rd International Conference on Fusion and Plasma, which took place in Seoul between 24 and 28 June.

During the scientific meeting, Ibarra presented the IFMIF-DONES project in an invited plenary talk. He also participated in other events where the different international strategies for the development of fusion and the impact of private industry were discussed.

Taking advantage of his stay in Korea, Ángel Ibarra visited different scientific facilities, such as KSTAR, at the Korean Institute of Fusion (KFE), and companies with experience in the field of fusion, such as Samhong Machinery, DawonSys, Hyundai Heavy Industries and EM Korea.
