The Alhambra host a talk by Ángel Ibarra

The director of the IFMIF-DONES Consortium, Ángel Ibarra, participated today in the Technical Conference on Archaeology in the Alhambra: Applied Sciences for the Study of Al-Andalus, organised by the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife.
This meeting, which took place on the occasion of International World Heritage Day, brought together a significant group of specialists and researchers who, using techniques from scientific disciplines such as geology, chemistry, physics and biology, are providing valuable information on different aspects associated with the historical study of al-Andalus.
Ibarra took part in the round table “Old questions, new perspectives. Towards a research protocol applied to the study of al-Andalus: The Alhambra of Granada”, moderated by Fernando Martínez Ávila, head of the Department of Archaeology of the Alhambra.
