Scientific dissemination around IFMIF-DONES at IES Alhambra

The IES Alhambra (Granada) hosted a talk on IFMIF-DONES during the 3rd Week of Arts and Sciences organised last February. Pablo Canca, researcher at the University of Granada who works at IFMIF-DONES, was in charge of explaining to the students the objectives of the scientific facility that is being built in Escúzar (Granada). “Our students and teachers were able to learn first-hand about the project that has positioned Granada as a reference point worldwide,” said the IES Alhambra.

The programme included activities proposed by the students, the different teaching departments, the management team, the Parents’ Association and different collaborating organisations. The school carries out other initiatives to popularise science during the rest of the year.
