Representatives of the prestigious Japanese institute QST visit Escúzar

A delegation from the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology (QST), including Atsushi Kasugai, has visited the site where the particle accelerator will be built in Citai (Escúzar, Granada).

The Deputy Director, Moisés Weber, and other members of the IFMIF-DONES team accompanied the Japanese colleagues during the tour. This visit occurred during Granada’s ICFRM21 and DONES Steering Committee #2.

The Japanese delegation was able to see in situ the significant progress of the UGR-DONES building from the unbeatable views offered by the viewpoint of the CITAI building. They could also walk around the plot with the construction site of the future main buildings of IFMIF-DONES, enjoying an impressive view of the landscape that Granada offers with the first snow of this year in the Sierra Nevada.
