The 3rd R+DONES Forum will take place on 29th and 30th May. This event is the meeting point for all the agents of the Spanish R&D&I system who are interested in contributing to the development of innovative technologies useful for the construction, operation, and maintenance of IFMIF-DONES and other large scientific facilities (LFS).

The R+DONES Forum will start on the morning of the 29th with a visit to the construction of IFMIF-DONES in Escúzar and its current facilities at UGR-DONES. Several workshops will take place in the afternoon, followed by a networking dinner at the Carmen de los Mártires.

On the 30th, at the Chamber of Commerce of Granada, the institutional welcome will be given by Gerardo Cuerva, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Granada; and Ángel Ibarra, director of the IFMIF-DONES España Consortium.

Afterwards, the Director General of the CDTI, José Moisés Martín, will give a speech entitled ‘Challenges of public funding in science and innovation’. This will be followed by a representative of the CSIC (to be confirmed).

The forum will conclude with company presentations and B2B meetings.
