Japanese industry delegation visits IFMIF-DONES facilities in Escúzar

Today, the IFMIF-DONES project had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation of representatives from the Japanese industry engaged in the development of fusion energy, reaffirming the shared commitment to international cooperation in science and technology.
The IFMIF-DONES team was represented by Philippe Cara, José Aguilar, and Jorge Maestre. The Japanese delegation included members of J-Fusion, an organization representing Japanese companies dedicated to research and development of fusion energy technologies, among them:
The visit was organized by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), to whom we extend our sincere gratitude, represented by María Merced Pérez, and also included the participation of the Industry Office, represented by Roberto Álvarez.
Japan, through QST, is a Party of the DONES Programme, underscoring the importance of collaboration between Japanese, European, and Spanish industries for the advancement of IFMIF-DONES and the development of fusion energy.
