IFMIF-DONES was represented at the 18th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering 2026 (ECEE2026), one of the leading international conferences in the field of earthquake engineering.

The congress, attended by Mario Ruiz, a researcher involved in the seismic strategy of the facility, provided an excellent opportunity to present ongoing research work, exchange knowledge with experts from around the world, and learn about the latest advances in earthquake engineering and the design of resilient infrastructures.

The experience and knowledge gained will contribute to strengthening the seismic strategy and safety framework of the IFMIF-DONES project.

ECEE2026, held from 14 to 18 September 2026 in Berlin (Germany), brought together researchers, professionals and decision-makers working in the field of earthquakes and related areas.
