IFMIF-DONES Consortium participates in innovation and entrepreneurship event, organised by the Chamber of Commerce
The IFMIF-DONES Consortium was present at the event ‘Laboratorio de Innovación y Emprendimiento’ organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Granada and participated in a discussion panel about the reality and future of employment in the STEAM sector. This event had the aim to promote creative and entrepreneurship culture in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art y Mathematics) fields.
José Aguilar, Coordinator of the Technical Office of IFMIF-DONES, was invited to participate in the discussion panel about STEAM. José Aguilar informed about the current situation of the project and provided details on the most recent advances related to the particle accelerator. In this regard, it was highlighted the special effort being made and the significant achievements reached so far. The IFMIF-DONES project is developed under the framework of an ambitious program that the European Union is implementing to develop fusion as a source of energy, in an international cooperation with China, India, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and the United States, partners in ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor).
