IFMIF-DONES, at the ‘Accelerator Reliability Workshop’ in Sweden

“Selection of maintenance strategy in IFMIF-DONES LINAC components” was the conference title given by our colleague, Juanjo Rueda, during the ARW2024 (Accelerator Reliability Workshop).

The event occurred in Helsingborg (Sweden) from 23 to 26 June. Almost 200 participants from different facilities worldwide took part in the sessions: LIPAC, CERN, ESS, MAX IV, ITER, JLAB, SOLEL, etc.

This workshop brings together the world accelerator community and other industries to exchange experiences in designing, testing, commissioning, operating and maintaining reliable facilities. It aims to stimulate the exchange of information on the industry’s technical issues and challenges, as well as shared cultural and human factors and opportunities for the future.
