Ángel Ibarra, Director of the IFMIF-DONES España Consortium, will take part next Thursday in the closing session of the 18th European Congress on Advanced Materials and Processes – FEMS EUROMAT 2025, held in Granada (Spain) from September 14–18, 2025. This is the largest European event dedicated to materials science and technology. This edition is organised by the Spanish Materials Society (SOCIEMAT).

EUROMAT brings together more than 1,800 scientists to explore the future of advanced materials and processes. Researchers from around thirty countries will present their findings across eight main areas: functional materials; structural materials; processing; characterization, modeling and artificial intelligence; energy and transportation; materials for healthcare; education and technology transfer; and materials for sustainability.
