IFMIF-DONES has taken a further step in strengthening its global positioning by joining FUSE (Fusion Energy Sciences Exchange), the knowledge-sharing platform promoted by the International Atomic Energy Agency. This inclusion consolidates the Spanish infrastructure as a key player within the international fusion energy ecosystem.

FUSE is a collaborative environment promoted by the IAEA that connects scientific institutions, researchers and strategic projects worldwide in the field of fusion. Its objective is to facilitate information exchange, technical cooperation and the creation of synergies among leading international initiatives.

Joining FUSE will enable IFMIF-DONES to reinforce its participation in international collaboration networks, share scientific and technological advances, and access knowledge generated by other leading facilities.

This increased international visibility will also help attract talent, foster cooperation with other research centres and encourage industry participation in the development of fusion-related technologies.
