IFMIF-DONES played a prominent role at the 1st Big Science Industry Forum Spain 2025 (BSIFS 2025), held on 3–4 December in Madrid. The event was organised by CDTI, the INDUCIENCIA Technology Platform, and the Spanish Association of the Science Industry (INEUSTAR), bringing together key stakeholders for the first national forum dedicated to the Science Industry in Spain.

The aim of the conference was to strengthen the capabilities of the Science Industry in Spain and to showcase to society the sector’s potential as a driver of economic growth.

Moisés Weber, Ángel Ibarra, Philippe Cara and Blanca Biel took part in several of the scheduled round-table discussions. IFMIF-DONES also hosted an informative stand and presented the Women in DONES (WiD) Award.

In addition, Diana Morant Ripoll, Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, and Eva Ortega-Paíno, Secretary General for Research at the Ministry of Science and Innovation, visited the IFMIF-DONES stand.
