Meeting on nuclear fusion at the Italian embassy in Spain

On 9 April, the Italian embassy in Spain hosted the meeting ‘Nuclear fusion and challenges for the decarbonisation of the planet’. Organised by the scientific attaché, Sergio Scopetta, the event aimed to highlight the scientific cooperation between Italy and Spain and the importance of clean energies that contribute to the decarbonisation of the planet.

The event was inaugurated by the Italian Ambassador to Spain, Giuseppe Buccino. The day included a session dedicated to ‘Large Installations and Science Industry’, in which our director, Ángel Ibarra, intervened together with Francesco Romanelli (DTT), Francesca Ferrazza (ENI) and Ana Belén del Cerro (CDTI).
