The presence of IFMIF-DONES in the Transfiere Forum has confirmed its unifying role around the Big Science through its participation in multiple activities and the implementation of numerous professional contacts.
‘Andalusia and the race for fusion: industry, research and talent’ was the title of the round table organised on 12 March. Moderated by Loreto del Valle Cebada (Consejería de Universidad, Investigación e Innovación de la Junta de Andalucía), it counted with the participation of José Aguilar (IFMIF DONES), Manuel García Muñoz (University of Seville), Roberto Álvarez (Industry Office), Mª Angeles Martín Prats (Skylife Engineering) and Kiera McKay (University of Seville).
IFMIF-DONES had a stand in the large space dedicated to Scientific and Technical Infrastructures of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. This place was a regular meeting point for the numerous delegations of Granada companies and organisations working in the Big Science sector: PTS Foundation, Granada Chamber of Commerce, Industry Office, Ineustar, Safran, Quantia, University of Granada, etc.
During Transfiere, we also strengthened ties with the representatives of the public administrations dedicated to the Innovation sector, participating in many of the events organised. At the round table ‘Technological Ambition: Boosting innovation policies in Spain’, attended by the Mayor of Malaga City Council, Paco de la Torre, Juan Cruz Cigudosa García, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities; Teresa Riesgo Alcaide, Secretary General of the Ministry; and José Moisés Martín Carretero, Director General of the CDTI, took part.
