Thesis on medical radioisotope production at IFMIF-DONES successfully defended

“Isotope Production in DONES: Exhaustive analysis of different isotopes and preliminary design of their industrial production” is the title of the thesis defended on July 7 by Elena López Melero. The work, supervised by A. Javier Praena Rodríguez (University of Granada) and Eduardo Romero Sanz (CIEMAT), received the highest distinction from the examination board.

“Estela” is making significant progress in its bid for a nomination at the 2026 Goya Awards. This animated short film, produced by Rokyn Animation and Grupo ADM, and directed and written by Manuel Sicilia, is supported by IFMIF-DONES in collaboration with the University of Granada, the Granada City Council, the Granada Provincial Council, the Granada Chamber of Commerce, the Escúzar City Council, and CanalSur.
