The announcement of the cession was made on 10 June by the Mayoress, Marifrán Carazo, during the first meeting of the IFMIF-DONES Local Forum, held in the municipal building in the Cervantes neighbourhood.

The scientific and technological alliance between the IAA-CSIC and IFMIF-DONES will increase collaboration between the two scientific communities representing research excellence.
